Academic and Managerial Leaderships-Based Managerial & Technological Leadership change In Um Al Qura University

 

* The Purpose of the Study.

The study aims at investigating the degree of applying management technology for change in terms of academic and managerial leadership’s perspective in Um Al Qura University, and identifying bases requirements to activate the applying of management technology for leadership change in terms of academic and management leadership’s perspective at Um Al Qura University.

The study also aims at determining the differences of statistical significance among sample community responses on the degree of managerial technological impact on leadership change, in addition to bases requirements to activate the management technology required for leadership change according to variables: (qualification, years of experience and position).

* Study Methodology, Sample, and Instrumentation:

The study used descriptive survey approach, including all women academic and managerial leaderships affiliated with the deanship of university studies at Um Al Qura University in Al Zaher. The survey was used as an instrument to collect information.

* Results.

– The degree of applying management technology leadership change from the perspective of academic and managerial leaderships at Um Al Qura University was very high, in general, with an average arithmetic stood at 4.28 .

– The orientation towards leadership change, as one of the bases requirements to activate managerial technological leadership change application, was very high, with an average arithmetic stood at 4.35 .

– The degree of planning for change, as one of the bases requirements to activate managerial technological change application, was very high, with an average arithmetic stood at 4.58 .

– The degree of making change, as one of the bases requirements to activate managerial technological leadership change application, was very high; with an average arithmetic stood at 4.45 .

– The degree of sustaining change, as one of the bases requirements to activate managerial technological leadership change application, was very high, with an average arithmetic stood at 4.43.

– The differences of statistical significance among the sample responses about the degree of applying managerial technological leadership change, at Um A l Qura University was attributed to, qualification variable.

–  The non existence of differences of statistical significance among the sample responses, about the degree of applying managerial technological leadership change at Um A l Qura University, was attributed to, job position and years of experience variables.

– The non existence of differences of statistical significance among sample responses, about the overall degree of bases requirements to activate applying managerial technological leadership change at Um A l Qura University, was attributed to years of experience variable through administration work.

– The differences of statistical significance among sample responses about the overall degree of bases requirements to activate applying managerial technological leadership change at Um A l Qura University, was attributed to qualification and differences, in favour of qualification (graduate studies).

– The differences of statistical significance among sample responses about the overall degree of bases requirements to activate applying managerial technological leadership change at Um A l Qura University, was attributed to job position.

 

 

* Recommendations.

– Managerial and academic leaderships should be stimulated to evaluate strategies of plan work according to required change, to achieve the goals of Saudi Arabia Kingdom in 2030.

– Managerial and academic leaderships should be stimulated to contribute to vocational growth of university students, and develop their performance.

– A scientific symposium should be held comprising leaderships having bachelor degrees and post degrees, to discuss the reasons behind their responses variance on (the degree of applying managerial technological leadership change at Um Al Qura University- to make change – to concentrate on leadership change.
